Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
After briefly meeting in York four years ago we decided to play on a Hawaiian cruise liner as the house band for three months so we could save up enough money to move to London. We’ve been living together ever since, making and recording music in our garden shed. It’s quite an intense set up but no-one’s killed anyone, yet…
Where did the new single come from?
Olly wrote the track when he went back home for a weekend in France after a long summer of gigging around Europe. The song came from realising the importance of reconnecting to your roots while still moving forward with your ambitions and ideals. We got back into rehearsals, jammed it out and refined the parts in our shed over the next few weeks.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Yes! We have a video coming out for ‘Mother Tongue’ in the next few weeks. It is the first of our videos that we all feature in, so we’re intrigued to see how people react to it!
What’s on the horizon for you?
We are releasing a new single this September and will be going back to do another tour in Germany, which we’re excited about because we absolutely love it over there!
