Chatterbox: Nick Sharma

Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.

I am Nick Sharma from Oslo, Norway. I’ve been music for a long time, but it’s only the last couple of years I have been taking it seriously. I have always had a spiritual inclination to music, so it’s been my signature since I started. Lately however, I have been implementing this type of vibe more consciously into me as a package; because my life has heavily been about a shift in consciousness. I, like many others nowadays, am experiencing a positive change within; and my artistic approach is simply an expression, a manifestation of that change.

How did the new single come about?

Slow Down came quite spontaneously. It is sort of a disguised song, that sneaks in spiritual vibes into a pop-clothed thing. I usually don’t think too much about what to create, it comes organically, so my task is usually to not filter what comes through. I’m also working with an incredible team, and as a team we create whatever feels right then and there. Not much pre-meditation.

Is there more content in the pipeline?

Yes! Since March this year, I have been coming out with one single per month. I have 4 singles out now, and all of them will be featured in my upcoming electronic EP “XTROVERT EP”, which will be a prequel to the more hip hop centric EP “INTROVERT EP”. Everything is out on Spotify and other big platforms, so tune in!

What’s on the horizon for you?

With the material I have out now, I’ll hopefully attract more and more people who enjoy it. I think it’s a vibration thing; with people dipping into transformation and spirituality being more attracted to my music.
