Ellen Murphy, A.K.A. Lenii, is an emerging talent plying her trade from Cork, Ireland. A producer, vocalist and DJ, Murphy got a taste for creating electronic soundscapes and has been settling on a sound that represents her musical background.

Lenii’s earlier efforts were primarily writing ballads and instrumentals, and you can feel the influence of that period in her debut single ‘Sober Dreams’. The melodic writing is calm, there’s a restraint that is a by-product of being a balladeer. However, the production itself is frenetic, a combination of imposing movement in the synths and confident beat-work.

It’s well worth keeping an eye on Lenii, with more singles and collabs in the works I’m sure you’ll be hearing her name in your favourite playlists over the coming months.
