Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
Hey there! We are Satori Blue, a boy-girl duo out of Seattle. Chancellor and I have been running in the same circles ever since meeting at University and four years later have stumbled across our shared interest to create music. We started out playing around with covers and organically evolved into us creating music of our very own. Chancellor has been producing, writing and singing for over three years now and I have been dabbling with writing/singing myself since I can remember. You can expect to hear Chance’s voice in some of our upcoming work.
Where did the new single come from?
Empathy started back in November and has been our side project ever since. Once it really became something tangible was when we realized we wanted to make this more than a project. Our styles seamlessly sync’d and making music a larger part of our lives was always a reality we wanted to create. We wrote our first single in the spirit of showing a little more empathy in this complex world we are living in. We’ve found a little can go a long way 🙂
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Yes, more to come from us. We plan to have an EP out in the near future and currently experimenting with combining our love for folk, funk and warm synths. We want our next single to have you moooovin and groovin!
What’s on the horizon for you?
Some more singles over the next few months and an EP to follow. No live shows on our horizon but we hope that changes soon 🙂
