Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
The 2 of us started our collaboration as AM at the end of 2012. Ian’s a world renowned multi-platinum selling producer and Shanti Ellis is a new-comer to the scene. After rebuilding our studio, we were inspired to make more music that was true to ourselves.
Where did the new single come from?
During the last few months of 2015, we really wanted to create a sound that gave a kind of internal emotive response. Something that gave us a chance to revel in some personal dark space but still felt like resilience. That’s when “U People” was born.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
We have a video for “U People” should be available soon. There’s at least another single from the upcoming EP, and the full EP “WildLife” will be out by the summer.
What’s on the horizon for you?
Looking forward to the full EP release. We really want people to check out these songs we put together.
