Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
Hi! We released our first track in 2015, and got blown away by the response we got from Norwegian radio and music press, and different indie blogs around the globe. After this scary birth, we’ve slowly but stubbornly grown up on the music scene in Oslo, putting most of our time and energy into creating an as intense and unique live show as possible.
This has been a reaction to a lot of Nordic artists that we look up to as amazing musicians and producers, but that we feel don’t put too much effort into creating memorable moments for their live audiences.
Where did the new single come from?
During what was supposed to be a vacation at home with his parents, singer Hans Olav ended up writing and starting to record ‘July’, amongst other songs that will be on our debut album. The lyrics for July were ironically written in the heat of a pretty intense blizzard, and is about anxiety and love, a.k.a the usual stuff.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
We will release another song in a couple of months, and also a DIY music video for ‘July’. Then, right after summer, it’s finally album time.
What’s on the horizon for you?
Hopefully more recreational trips to nude beaches around Oslo, and most important: Getting to perform for new audiences again soon, also outside of Norway.
