Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
Hi, I’m a 24 year old singer from Reading. Coming from a pretty musical family I’ve been surrounded by music for years. My mum worked for Motown back in the 80s before I came along and ruined it! I take a lot of influence from the Motown sound.
Where did the new single come from?
I Know What I Saw, isn’t about a specific girl – although many think it is. I wrote it with the idea of trust and your own belief. “I’m not the one you think about each night” is more of a metaphor of paranoia. The chorus (specifically the first half) is actually sung on reflection of myself and a mental state.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Yes, I’m going to be releasing more songs through the year. I’m so excited to finally be putting more music out! I took a year out after my first EP “Silent Love” to write. I’ve now got a good 10-15 tracks in the bag and can’t wait to let people hear them.
What’s on the horizon for you?
I’m hoping for a good year, spending time away just to write has been really great. I feel confident in the songs and really hope they come across well and that people understand them. Very excited for this year!
