Loome blasts off to alt-pop stardom with debut album Astrohearts

Suffolk-based alt-pop sensation Loome has just released his debut album, Astrohearts, and it’s a cosmic blast of pure pop magic. From the opening track to the final note, the album is a stunning blend of radiant melodies, atmospheric electronics, and biting guitar riffs that will leave you breathless. Loome, the solo project of Tomas Frankson, showcases his incredible ability to balance introspective, heartfelt songwriting with vibrant, catchy pop hooks.

Astrohearts is a personal journey born out of a life-altering experience, and the theme of finding joy amidst fragility resonates deeply throughout the album. The soaring vocals and crisp production make every track both accessible and emotionally powerful. Tomas’ DIY approach to the album is a testament to his authenticity and talent. With support from BBC Introducing and Spotify’s editorial playlists, Astrohearts is a promising release that positions Loome as one of the most exciting emerging artists in the UK alt-pop scene.

“The announcement of ASTROHEARTS was a knee-jerk reaction to the worst start of a year ever. I came face to face with my own mortality, being told my life expectancy was potentially halved. It made me realise that making and releasing an album is a life-long dream and I was only avoiding it because I didn’t have anything important to say. But after one phone call that all changed. This album is about me finding the joy in life and for the first time facing up to the fragility of it all.”
