Hey team BROMSEN, thanks for taking the time to chat to us today, for this weeks CHATTERBOX feature. Huge congrats on releasing your debut album, how long did this process take and what can you share about the journey of recording an album?
It has been a loooong journey. We’ve recorded approx. one year and to compare it with running disciplines it is probably a marathon. We’ve also had several technical issues during that period which had really tested our endurance.
What influences have gone into your sound recently?
We currently have a slight touch of Morricone coming into play, but that will eventually be heard in our second album. Our debut album (release 16 Feb) is rock’n’roll on a synthwave. A very rough and pure sound, which is exactly how debut albums should sound.
Any top tips for getting through writers block?
Stop it for a while. It will come back from alone.
What is your favourite thing about being an artist?
Being an artist.
Who would be a dream collaboration and why? Let’s manifest it.
We’ve just had an unexpected dream cooperation with a Brazilian dance combo – LUX – they are amazing and have performed an outstanding dance choreography on our debut single “Merryman”. The video should be out when you read these lines. Also, @Luka Bloom- when you read these lines – we’d love to hear a cover version of Someone- pretty sure that this would be a banger.
What are your plans for the rest of the year?
Getting in the billboard charts.
A dream festival and stage to play on?
Glastonbury, Rock am Ring
What are you calling in for 2024?
Peace
