Set against soulful pop melodies, the track oscillates between wholesome, feel-good vibes and a touch of melancholy, offering listeners insight into the artist’s experiences navigating different cities and cultures.

Collaborating with Aijia and producer Justin Stanley has resulted in a compelling song that resonates with those facing the challenge of building enduring connections in a world marked by constant change. The poignant quote, “All I’m tryna do is find my people,” encapsulates the essence of the song, reflecting ANDREAH’s desire for lasting friendships that transcend distance and time. ‘My People’ stands as a significant moment in her promising career.

I was in LA last year and did a co-writing session with Justin Stanley and Aijia. It was my first co-write, and I was pretty nervous. Aijia asked me to think about something I wanted to write about that wasn’t centered on relationships. That’s when the idea of a song about always moving and not having enough time to ‘find my people’ emerged.
