RYAL, the popping dance duo, have once again graced our ears, this time with the remix of their dreamy-synth sonic soundscape, “Stay With Me,” aptly titled “Stay With Me (All Night).” Following the release of their EP, “The End is Near Here,” and their wellness podcast theme song, “Every Body Talks,” RYAL is capping off the summer with a 90’s dance-inspired twist on their original creation.
Singer and keys player Jacque Ryal, alongside producer Aaron Nevezie, took a different approach when crafting this remix. Known for their unique method of passing tracks back and forth, they decided to hunker down together at their homebase studio, The Bunker Studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It was during a long holiday weekend that the magic of “Stay With Me (All Night)” was born.
“We wanted this big synth intro,” Jacque explains. “We listened to M83’s ‘Midnight City’ as a reference and thought we should try and make this M83 meets Daft Punk inspired track, but then the song had other plans for us. It became this dreamy abode.”
The result is a nostalgic journey into the dance beats of the 90s, coupled with RYAL’s signature dreamy sonic landscapes. “Stay With Me (All Night)” is a toe-tapping, head-nodding track that seamlessly combines the allure of yesteryears’ dance music with the modern, ethereal soundscapes that RYAL is known for.
RYAL’s plans to release a remix and an acoustic version of the song in October to ensure that “Stay With Me” will be a tune that carries you through the changing seasons. This release allows you to welcome fall with a captivating melody that will keep you singing along, even as winter approaches. This remix a must-listen for music lovers of all backgrounds!
