“I wrote this at a time in my life when negative people kept weighing me down. I was always a bit of a pushover and let people walk upon me, and then something snapped one day. I thought ‘you know what, I don’t need that in my life anymore’, and ‘Better Off’ was born. It’s simple.. life’s too short, you don’t need toxic people in it!”
