Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m L Joevon, and I was born and raise in Brooklyn New York, however I was in a forster home in Milwaukee Wisconsin for two years, until they kicked me out for multiple altercations with the police and gangs their. I’m a writer all around the board. I write music, books, plays, marketing strategies and business plans. I would like to think, I’m the author of my own chapter in the book of Life.
Where did the new single come from?
The new single Candy Red is featured by Jon Black, a great R&B singer, and it came from page 32 of my most recent novel, Seeds in the Concrete, an interactive novel that you can scan while reading the book to listen to music that will but you in the zone of the current scene of the characters. It’s about the main character Lance Adams who was ingulfed by Ayana Jackson, who was beautiful inside and out, but you will never believe her dark past. She wears little make-up except for her candy red lipstick that’s smug proof. lol
Is there more content in the pipeline?
Yes! I produced an entire sountrack that goes with my novel, Seeds in the Concrete. Other singles are “Trees Grow in Brooklyn” and “Do or Die”, plus strong story telling b-side tracks like IMURJE and Life So Strange. I’m featured on a single called “Nikey Check” with Giovannie, Drip, Glizzy Gambino and T-3.
What’s on the horizon for you?
I’m aiming to do a TV series of Seeds in the Concrete. I wrote the showbible for it. But lets take baby steps: New York Times Bestseller and place Candy Red on the Billboard 100!
