Hey, tell us a bit about yourself.
We are Robyn (18) and Julio (21) and we are Mother Mare (pronounced mahr-ay), a new synthpop / indietronica / oceandepths / outerspace inspired duo.
Where did the new single come from?
“Gold Heart” has been a work in progress for over 2 years that began after losing our friend Brad to suicide. As time has passed, we’ve been able to come to terms with the situation and learn the lessons it had to teach. The song has grown lyrically/musically along with us, and never felt fully finished until now.
Is there more content in the pipeline?
We’re always writing new music. Definitely more to come.
